Our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) deliver guided self-help interventions to treat a wide range of common disorders, supporting clients to learn skills for life that help them to feel and give them a sense of autonomy over their mental health.
As a PWP you will:

Our Step 2 Clinical Leads provide clinical leadership to the Senior PWP team as well as the wider qualified and trainee PWP workforce.
This involves case management, clinical skills, meta-supervision, and delivering CPD and training.
Every day is different! Step 2 Clinical Leads will meet with various staff members e.g. Senior PWPs, PWP Champions, Step 3 Clinical Leads, and Operations Managers to work on several topics and projects. They also hold a small caseload.
Step 3 Clinical Leads carry a small caseload of clients and supervise a range of different therapists.
This role is part of the NHS Talking Therapies leadership team so there is a lot of opportunity to explore how the further develop the service.

High-Intensity CBT Therapists support clients and look to find ways to improve their well-being through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques.
Our Therapists also co-facilitate group sessions for their clients.

Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (TPWPs) use Guided Self Help interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help people look at how thoughts or beliefs can impact emotions, physical sensations and behaviour in a way that may be contributing to, or maintaining distress.
Our Trainees manage a caseload of clients, complete assessments, attend an NHS-funded Postgraduate Certificate course at University (depending on the service) and learn evidence-based techniques for treating clients.
