London, 18th October 2022: Pioneering pizza oven brand Gozney has today announced the launch of its Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox. Inspired by their founder’s rebellious approach to design, the new edition celebrates his 15-year odds-defying journey from drug and alcohol dependency to visionary designer. In a new all-black colourway, the pizza oven is engraved with six numbers that are forever etched into Gozney history: 030207, a date that marks Day 00 of Tom’s sobriety and signifies his journey since. £40 from every Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox sale in the UK will go directly to the brand’s new charity partner, With You, to help them provide free and confidential support to anyone experiencing issues with drugs or alcohol.
Fresh out of rehab at the age of 21 and lost, Tom Gozney channelled his passion for food and built a pizza oven by hand in his back garden. While the first oven was rough, the pizza tasted amazing and the experience sent Tom down a path of self-discovery while renewing connections with the people around him. This was the catalyst for Tom’s success story as he has defied all odds with the success of Gozney.... Tom continues to constantly create and innovate on his mission to bring people together through live-fire cooking. Throughout this 15-year journey, Tom has poured his energy into design and innovation becoming recognised globally as an industry leader in the space. The brand began by selling commercial ovens and is now renowned for supplying to the likes of Pizza Pilgrims and Franco Manca alongside their award-winning residential range.
When the Roccbox first launched in 2016, it kick-started a culinary revolution. Harnessing the very best of Gozney’s commercial ovens for home use, the Roccbox produces restaurant-quality pizza every time. The Signature Edition Roccbox is inspired by Tom’s rebellious approach to design with pro-grade materials and innovative design principles distilled into a sleek, portable powerhouse of a pizza oven.
This Roccbox is crafted from a matte black ceramic bonded, 304 stainless steel faceplate and body, with a matte black Safe-Touch silicone jacket. Using all the same features as the award-winning original Roccbox models, this compact pizza oven can reach temperatures of 500°C, with an even bake guaranteed every time from the thick stone floor, dense insulation, and unique rolling flame. This portable oven has durable powder coated folding legs and a signature-edition built in matt black temperature gauge, meaning you can cook pizza for family and friends anywhere. What’s more, all Signature Edition Roccboxes sold include a special-edition Black Anodized Placement Peel for free – one of the hottest Gozney accessories to date which will not be available individually.
Marking 15 years of sobriety for the brand’s founder, Tom, the launch coincides with the announcement of Gozney’s three new global charity partners. In the UK, Gozney has partnered with the incredible charity WithYou. WithYou is a UK charity providing free, confidential support to people experiencing issues with drugs, alcohol or mental health. To celebrate, Gozney has pledged $100,000 of the proceeds from the Signature-Edition sale between their three new charity partners. £40 from every Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox sold in the UK will be donated directly to With You to support their latest initiatives.
